There is no shortcuts in the modelling process. Everything is digitally shaped “by hand” untill the result of the whole object is satisfying. A complex subject might take weeks or even months to be perfected in all its parts and minor details.
The different material and light sources appliable to the surface of the statue allow the digital sculptor with a virtually unlimited number of possible choices.
